Community Spotlight: All the Deus Ex!
Here at Square Enix Europe HQ we're lucky enough to have a new member in the Online Team, Ulrich. Here on work experience; we broke him away from his tea duties to put together this week's Community Spotlight. Needless to say he's spot-on (geddit!?!?!) with his choices in finding great community contributions.
Ulrich:
It’s been almost a year since Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released onto the world and spawned hundreds of community created videos. The sheer amount of videos and tributes that you have since created is mind blowing and to honour your dedication we’ve decided to highlight some of the montages, remixes and various creations that have been floating through the internet since release.

Meh, I'm a PS user. I've been sticking with Sony's line of console's since the PS era and have most of them, excluding the Vita. I'll also be purchasing the 4 since I was pretty much blown away during the presentation (even though we didn't actually get to see it). Plus, some of my favorite titles are on Sony consoles including the new FF that will be revealed at E3. I'm definitely interested in what Microsoft have planned though, and I will watch their presentation. But, some of the things I've heard like the the new Illumniroom (or at least I think that's what they call it) extention for the Kinect is a bit too much for an old-class gamer like me who needs his controller and a normal screen to look at. Heck, even the Kinect is way too complicated and difficult to get used to. How could anyone expect to play games without some sort of controller? Also, there's rumors going around saying the new console needs 24/7 internet connection. Even my PC doesn't have that much internet! This would be something that would make me turn away from Microsoft, even if I had previous consoles. If I were to buy something other than Sony, it would be a Nintendo 3DS.Posted by neo_bahamut on 16/05/2013 21:28
As many games that are required-online to play this year, would seem kinda silly to think companies would stop this trend w the next-gen. Companies can collect user statistics from required online play to use for their future products' improvements. And since the world is becoming more and more online, it would be a step in the wrong direction not to expect onlie requirements. It would seem silly based on that for Microsoft to continue to charge for online access, but the company is infamous for having a large head and not enough spine to support it.Posted by Yolteotl79 on 16/05/2013 19:16
