We won't be seeing FFVII remake before SE makes a new game that is equally good as FFVII. So until then we just have to wait -.-

that what i mean because I never see IOS games in the charts i'm sure there is a IOS fanbase but bigger fanbase then the 3 big consoles & hand-helds doubtful.

@FaithlessMr: Japanese sites (mostly Famitsu) have mentioned that all chapters come in one package. They're probably not saying it on English sites because we didn't get the original split version.

@DarkNOVA21: on the original Japanese version it was like FFVI. When you meet them for the first time, the screen goes dark, gives a quick description of the character, then asks you to use their default name or put your own one in.

I'm pretty sure that sales charts like the UK one don't take into account digital sales, so of course no iOS game would ever appear there.

I would love to get this... buttttttt... the spec on my android phone probably won't be good enough to play this... (just like any other big SE game) -.-

about the characters are they no name character(like FFI) or like FFIV where they have name but you can change it?

I am super stoked for this one; Can you guys please tell us when it's going to be released here in Europe? I heard the US version should be releasing this summer, and I'd love to get this as soon as possible :D

Also, are you guys releasing this as a full game? If I recall correctly, this game was distributed in several episodes when it was a mobile phone game in Japan, similar to how The After Years worked on the WiiWare. I really hope it's a single game file, having to download the episodes one by one kinda detracts from the experience imo :/

no it shows Ps3, 360, PSP, Vita, DS & wii .

if no FFv13 announce this year & No FF type o for west this year & no infor of FF13-3 you wont mind but others will. :D

Well, the menus do look quite plain and generic, not something I would expect from SquareEnix. Why not use the classic menu type from the PSOne remakes, Chrono Trigger, etc? They still look sharp nowadays and, at least for me, are part of the visual identity of retro Final Fantasy. You could at least include them as an optional skin...

Why on earth is this not being released on vita/psp/3ds?

They could put every game on every console, but no company does. Not really something worth losing sleep over.

Well... isn't that a surprise.... Some great screenshots of a new game (yes it's a port of FF Legends in Japan but it's new to us) and it is being released on an ever expanding platform which has an ever expanding user base - myself included...

This just goes to show that people are ignoring my previous request for the rubbish comments to stop - I have ignored the KH 3d Italian/Spanish debate as I believe it should be translated - this is ridiculous... If you do not own an android or ios device then do not get this game but don't start moaning about a lack of support for other consoles (the game may also be released on windows devices or chrome if recent announcements are anything to go by)

Square Enix are releasing a number of games for the 3DS right now (Heroes of Ruin / Theatrhythm / KH3D) which all excellent (just having played the demos) - sure it took some time as the 3DS has been out for a while but they are arriving now... the DS & PSP have had some great games over the years and the Vita already has a 10 HD Remake in the works... surely this goes to show some decent support for the consoles.

Even the PS3 has been show some love - 13 and 13-2 were excellent games in their own rights - yes they have done better (in my opinion and maybe yours) but they are by no means shoddy... so stop whinging about no games being released for the console.

Dimensions looks awesome Square Enix and I continue to look forward to it's release.

@BenBateman - Isn't there something you guys can do to stop the spam comments (always from the same people) being posted - whilst their opinion is clear I believe they are also moaning for the sake of it

p.s. Keep up the good work - 2012 has been an excellent year for the Square Enix members blog and hopefully shall continue at the current rate

Hate the fact that is a mobile game, but still better than FFXIII.

Square enix should release this on the DS/ PSP aswell! I know everyone is into mobile gaming and stuff, but i personally hate it. My thumb covers up half the screen, and i cant see whats going on! lol

I love how all 8 characters seem to retain their individuality in their job outfits. The graphics seem better than in the original E3 screenshots somehow. It's also nice to see the retro format being used in something original rather than remakes. Just need a release date! :P
