Last week we talked about the growing recognition of video game music in popular culture. But despite our efforts to bring the blissful tones of Final Fantasy music to the masses - such as with the Distant Worlds concert - we're not leaving it there!

The Classic FM Hall of Fame highlights some of the best scores to have graced our ears throughout history. Only the best of the best will make the top 300 and this is where you come in. Banding together - like every great community does - we can get video game music featured in the Classic FM Hall of Fame.

Voting is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Just head to halloffame.classicfm.com, type in your favourite track, and click submit. If that wasn't reason enough you could win an iPad for taking part! You can vote for anything, but if we're going to stand a chance then we're going to need to vote for the same piece of music. Obviously there are hundreds of great tracks to choose from in the Square Enix's back-catalogue, but the community collective has spoken and we're trying to get Nobuo Uematsu's Aerith's Theme into the Hall of Fame.

It will take a great amount of team work - especially as there's only a few hours left - but I'm confident we can do it. GO TEAM! Oh, and tell your friends too!
