PlayStation Classic Urban Chaos out on PSN

It's crazy to think that the original PlayStation came out over 18 years ago and yet it's wide catalogue of games are still bucket-loads of fun today. One of those PlayStation classics was Urban Chaos by Mucky Foot Productions (published by Eidos). Playing as D'arci Stern, a Union City Cop, you must take to the streets and eradicate the cities criminal gang presence, namely the Wildcats! This is a fun free-roaming third-person adventure released in the days when GTA was still 2D.

If you'd like to rekindle your youth or perhaps discover a cult classic, you can now download Urban Chaos from the PlayStation Network for £3.99/€4.99

Yes please, bring to the EU PSN some of the great games Square-Enix blessed other regions with. I'm thinking of:

- Bust a Groove 2
- Chrono Cross
- Chrono Trigger
- Dragon Quest VII (PS2)
- Legened of Mana
- Parasite Eve
- SaGa Frontier
- Xenogears

Also bring Xenosaga trilogy and FFX as PS2 classics!

Yes, please bring us a fantastic USA import as Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Einhander, Dragon Quest VII, Parasite Eve and more and more fantastic games from Square to european PSN Store ;)
I'd ask for import PS1 games but they probably wouldn't be released on the NZ PSN anyway. Just like Vagrant Story, Soul Reaver, Blood Omen, Fear Effect 1, URBAN CHAOS and a number of others. Being treated like a second hand citizen not only annoys me, it makes me far less inclined to buy any Square Enix game. At the very least they could let us buy those games by selling the download codes online.
Yeah, don't forget about those imports, Square-Enix. We're waiting.

3D Baseball
Bushido Blade 2
Bust a Groove 2
Chrono Trigger
Dragon Quest VII
Einhänder
Front Mission Alternative
Front Mission First
Front Mission Second
Parasite Eve
SaGa Frontier
Tobal 2
Back in the 90s the world was unfortunately not as global as it is today. Many games from both Square and Enix, never reached Europe. As such, there are plenty of classic PS1 games that Europeans never had any chance to play, and I would absolutely love to see them in the PS1 import section of the European PlayStation®Store.

Especially these games are the ones I'm thinking of, I'm sure that those who played these agree that they are classics in every sense of a world, and deserve to reach a larger audience.

Brave Fencer Musashi
Chrono Cross
Final Fantasy Tactics
Legend of Mana
Threads of Fate
Valkyrie Profile
Xenogears

It would be quite awesome to be able to buy Chrono Cross :)
Ben, can we get some US PS1 imports on the store soon. Chrono Cross especially, but Legend of Mana and Xenogears etc. would be awesome!
Fine game. Grab it, folks =)

Mucky Foot, ah beloveds.. I wish I could see what they'd do with a Startopia 2.
The release of this games was accidentally spoiled a week early. The PSN Store Update blog post from last week has Urban Chaos listed and when people were expressing their excitement, Jawad Ashraf had to quell it by clarifying that the game was scheduled for this week.

As far as the price is concerned, I think it's actually lower than what's listed here. In the Czech Store, it only costs 100 CZK, which is about €4 using normal exchange rate and a little less when using Sony's pricing structure that penalises anyone outside the UK. The usual conversion of €4,99 is 135 CZK. I didn't check the UK Store to see if the price is lower there as well, though.

Is there any concrete information on what PS1 games we can look forward to next? Out of the lesser known titles Square-Enix should have in their stable, I'd like to see Akuji the Heartless, Bushido Blade, The Italian Job or Warzone 2100. But any game is fine, really. Just as long as they keep getting re-released.
