Product Information for KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [updated]

A product information update regarding KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [Dream Drop Distance]:

As we get close to the launch of Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], we want to make it clear to European fans which languages the game will be available in. Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be localised into English, French and German. The VO will be in English only, with English, French and German subtitles. In Spain and Italy the game will be available in Spanish and Italian boxes with accompanying documents, but the game itself will be playable in English only.

We want to make this completely clear for our European customers so there is no confusion. We hope all fans of the series will still be able to enjoy Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] and the fantastic new features it brings to the series; it’s a game we are really proud of.

Post update [09/07/2012 - 15:30 UTC+1]:

Following our recent announcement that KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [Dream Drop Distance] would be localised into English with English, French and German subtitles only, Nintendo Ibérica has taken the decision not to act as distributor for this game in Spain. For those who still wish to buy the English version of the game in Spain, it will still be available through select retailers and it will be on sale from 20 July 2012.

We understand that there has been huge disappointment from fans in Spain, as well as other European countries. We completely understand this and we are sorry that we have not been able to fully satisfy all the fans needs for this version of the game.

hmm i don't see the point of the anger i read the post well in english, so you can text in english but you want in your language but your written in english.

make no sense i hear & read of licensing & localisation excues for not bringing content to the shops & EU psn store so i am confused.

ben im confused but your post says to save confusing lol :D
You can't go into any further details, of course...

We got a ****** italian translation for Birth By Sleep and we were hoping to deserve a good one in Dream Drop Distance. Result? NO TRANSLATION AT ALL.
Go ahead, Square Enix. You can add this to your list of your last amazing failures. I perfectly remember them saying some months ago "We do care about our fans from US and Europe". YEAH, I CAN SEE HOW THEY DO. Italian and Spanish people deserve a proper translation as much as French, English and German people do. Keep going like this, go to announce your stupid Final Fantasy XIII-3 which will be translated even in latin. At least, some formal apologizes and a REASONABLE explanation would be the least you can do for your fans. But nooo.

I'll say it again. YOU CAN ADD THIS TO YOUR LIST OF YOUR LAST AMAZING FAILURES.
What? You have translated a uselles spin-off how re: coded and don't translate this game? Do you really think that we italian will buy this game? Pathetic
1) We want to make this completely clear for our European customers so there is no confusion. We hope all fans of the series will still be able to enjoy Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] and the fantastic new features it brings to the series; it’s a game we are really proud of.

It is odd though SE seems to be cutting localised support for some EU countries though... Why is SEE cutting back on localisation? And do some of you have to rage at SE over this? At least they warned you about it themselves. Some companies probably won't even do that unless it in a small print on the game page.
Awful decision, if I may say. Given that Italy is not the biggest market in the world when it comes to jrpgs and anime/manga-inspired games, but if you stop localizing in Italian one of the few game series that has decent sales even here in Italy, you are really wiping out our market. I really hope you will reconsider this decision, because I fear many Italians will not buy this game anymore at these conditions.
Posso insultarvi in italiano giusto? Tanto è una lingua inutile no?
**** YOU from all of yours Italian Fans. You are so concentrated to games like Hitman and Tomb Raider for not localize one of your most famous game of all time? I won't buy the game and I hope every italians will do the same as me... and then don't try to say that third parties do not sell well on Nintendo platforms because it's just your fault! Shame on you Square Enix!
Uhm...is it possible to know why this decision?
Unfortunately we can't go into any further details other than what has been outline in statement above, sorry.
