Soul Reaver saga now available on Steam

The beloved Legacy of Kain series spans five games and several thousands of years, and now three of them are being made available on Steam for the first time – Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance.

For anybody new to the franchise, in the Soul Reaver games you play as Raziel, a former vampire - killed at the hands of fellow vampire, Kain himself. You're thrown into the Lake of the Dead only to find yourself revived 500 years later by the Great Elder God. As his "soul reaver" (a Wraith) you must return the world of Nosgoth to its former glory by killing Kain.

Soul Reaver still holds an impressive Metacritic rating of 91 and a user rating of 9.3, 13 years after its release in 1999. Its engrossing story was complemented with an impressive combat system, clever puzzles, platforming action and - in a time when gaming technology was far less capable - an environment that let you switch seamlessly between two worlds (the spectral realm and the material realm) on the fly.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance are all available from today on Steam for $9.99/€9.99/£6.99 each.

We would like to hear something from Square Enix!!! Why the game has been released with no localization support? And why it has been released with no fixes? It is the exact same retail version of years ago, technology has evolved, new OS, new GPU, new CPU, etc. SR1 and SR2 keeps crashing and gives errors, blank screens, etc... REALLY BAD from Square Enix, you really need to speak to whoever is taking care of SR Legacy and fix this pronto! Thank You
What are the supported screen resolutions?
@MrHansMaulwurf
You are totally right, also the Italian language was very well done, and its missing. Selling these games for 9.99 with no localization is an insult to all the gamers who love so much this saga. IMHO
Why are these great games only English? Every one of these games where also released in German by Eidos Interactive GmbH. Don't tell me that you don't have the rights for the German language. That leaves only LAZINESS as possibility. It's a shame that these great games don't get the treatment they deserve.
