Square Enix Weekly Recap: 08/10/2012

The Weekly Recap suffered an unplanned hiatus last week while we drowned in content overload and post-Eurogamer Expo news. But now we're back, better, stronger, more caffeine-fuelled than before, ready to deliver you last weeks news in record speed (okay, so we're a few hours late).

Yeah, its kind of annoying when the newest comments in every blogpost are spambots.

Thanks for reporting, Olli. You're a star!
We're tightening our user registration process to prevent spamming bots, but your help is invaluable!
Any idea on when we can expect the next update on the progress on the new Final Fantasy? The info last week hardly covered anything :(
XIV:ARR? Very soon.
SPEEDY1001:

Bringing it to Steam would most probably make for a much stable game. Not to mention the higher potential the game would have there.
While I can't comment on the logistics and business decisions behind why it's not on Steam, the feedback is still very much welcomed. When you look at the companies out there Valve have set the gold standard and it's very much something we should aim for. If you're not happy with the FFVII PC experience then we need to try harder.
I wish they would find at first a way to make everyone happy with the pc-version of ff-vii. On the german-se-side theres everyday a flood of cries for help like baught it but cant download it, error code 704, save games dissapear, connection losts again and again.

Is there any news on FFX HD at all. We have all this stuff on KH already and nothing on FFX. I'm really starting to lose hope in this and I don't want to. Please can Square atleast assure people that the game is actually in production for the PS3 and PS Vita.
Nothing to announce, sorry (I'm trying to get more information). But don't lose hope, it is still in the works.
