It's finally here; Tomb Raider is out now! After many years of blood, sweat, tears and long hours slaving over hot computers, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix are proud to present to you with a heroine reborn. With contributions from a long list of top talent including Rhianna Pratchett, Jason Graves, and Camilla Luddington, it's safe to say that this is the Tomb Raider game you've been waiting for. Lara is back!

If you've encountered a bug or other in-game issue, please check the Tomb Raider official forum to see if it's been encountered yet: http://forums.eidosgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=309

You'll see there, for example, that we have identified the Endurance and Rope Ascender bugs that a few people have mentioned here, and they will be fixed in a forthcoming patch (meaning you won't have to restart the game).

m have a CRITICAL game bug. On the Endurance, after beating the giant tug and getting the rope ascender, i try useing it on the rotating pully, but it stays stuck. it looks like the game spawned 2 weights at the same place and it wont move from its original mid air spot. i tried reloading the check point and restarting my hole console. seams its just a bug for me, but i cant finish the game unless there is a update fixing that bug. T-T So if anyone can get in contant with who ever can fix that. A Million thanks friend.

Unfortunetly there seems to be a bug whenever I try to upgrade my pistol and the game freezes, bit annoying. Really enjoyed the game though and amazed at what the designers managed to do with it, hoping they continue the series in the same style

Bought the game a week ago, I finished the story mode, great game until then, I tried to play the multiplayer, the game got stuck and now doesn't even loads! I have a PS3 does anyone is having the same issue?

I also have the same problem with the rope ascender as do a fair few others on youtube if you look... On both consoles, not sure about PC..

I've found a game ending bug thats killed the fun for me as ill have to start the game from the start. Im on the ship with the rope ascender. But when i pull the create it does not move as its stuck in the graphics of a second create, the crane moves then the rope brakes leaving the crate suck in the air. ive restarted the check point and reloaded the game but its saved when i killed the heavy and you only have one way out which is to drop the create. boo

Went on the very first day to the store to get the game. What a great story, nice music, the way the game is just enjoying to play it. The developers did a great job and I was exited to have the game and to start to play. Really the game is worth the money payed for it. Love the atmosphere, love the variation in the game of actions and discovering - its not boring to play and cinematic in the game is just enough, not too much not too short. Interesting to follow the story, discover the relics. Thanks for the great game, Im really glad to have this one in my collection and this is one of the best in it.

The all new Tomb Raider. I have played from the begining when there was Win 95 all of the games up untill now. But What have they done to Laura. She is but a sniveling young child and spends most of the game crying. Where is Our brave never scared can takle anything Laura. I was so disapointed that I returned my game. Some parts of the game are also just so anoying, Repetitive trollope and nothing like the original Tomb Raider series. This game misled me and should have been called something different like (Laura's cradle storys)

although i agree they have made a good game out of tomb raider,
it is far too short and far too many cut movie sequences, 24 hours to complete the game this includes the movie sequences being watched.
the online section of the game is very poor and i will not continue to play it.
overall i am disappointed.

I got this game for the PS3 and I am very pleased with the game so far. There is an issue with the game in the part "Find Alex". I used the rope ascender to pull the heavy object and it just stays mid air. I have restarted the game a few times and also reloaded the checkpoint but it has not resolved the issue. I am at 82% completion. I want to start a new game but I do not want to have the same issue again in the same spot. I hope you all fix this issue soon.

I got to the heavy rope puller and the crate floats in the air cant go on. did anyone test this game before it came out,if you cant fix it I want my money back,I also play on xbox360

Great game!
BUT! a huge bug when I got the heavy rope puller advice thing and I shot the crate in the crane.
the hole thing just hang in mid air and the crane rotates. ***!

I love this game and I have had no problems with it.. I am a tomb raider fan and this game just gave the saga a whole new light I love it

So, what do I think? Single handedly the buggiest game I have ever played. Seriously, did you do any playtesting before release? First of all I'd get a crash to desktop every hour or so, but I'm at a point in the game where it crashes to desktop every time. I can't continue. All of which is a huge shame, because when the game is actually working I'm really enjoying it.

It been reported today on the Internet that "there is NO DRM on tomb raider it was a error when writing the description to SCEA PSN store"

So that okay but many red faces all round why did capcom drop they DRM because it was a bad idea & a mistake.

I must say this game is well worth the wait second to none i love all the tomb raider games even the first ones for the original PlayStation :) Not stopped playing this one since i bought it and im loving every dirty blood covered moment of it thanks SQUARE ENIX TEAM YOUR ALL EPIC!!

61 percent into the game and its now bugged up my save cant progress at all now, anybody else had this problem, game was great too

I played for 7 hours last night and got 33% completion

I love this game i am going to go play it again tonight for 7 hours non stop action packed thrill ride and a fair amount of puzzles and fighting its the proper mix and such an awesome game

From what I've read, it sounds like Tomb Raider is everything I hoped it would be and so much more. I have to wait a little longer before it reaches my part of the world but it's definitely gonna be the worth the wait.

Oh dear I have to take back to tesco, haven't unwrap the seal yet plus I hope it flops.

I do not like SE that done a capcom on us they did it too, I do not support DRM that need to have a flicking Internet connection every time you play tomb raider what the reviews forgot to say is TR got DRM.

If you buy a digital download you will have a DRM force on you, what if the PSN is down like it always do for maintenance you be screwed, capcom did it & then scrap the idea.

So kudos SE for the stupid of the year goes to you.

& no I have not try the psyical copy to try if that DRM unfriendly.

Dangit - So looking forward to playing tonight and my game is all kinds of buggy. Crashes randomly, no background music on load on 50% of occasions, constantly logging me out due to errors occurring and can't get past the first enemy encounter in the game (**** you QTE). Going to get it replaced at GAME tomorrow - don't want my friends to get too far ahead of me, the game looks/sounds amazing, typical that I get the dodgy disc! :p

love the game playing the story line but the online multiplayer is no where near what i thought, not smooth very awkward moving around, 3rd person gaming is not the way it should be like mw3, call of duty etc etc very poor in my opinion. i will complete story mode the sell the game as not worth playing multi player with this

Bought the game in the morning, this game is par excellence! One of the best games I have ever played, my GOTY for 2013! No doubt.

Brought the game this Morning and from what i have played of the game so far it is absolutely the best tomb raider game so far! Square Enix you have deffinately out done yourself again.
