"Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is at the ongoing Jump Festa trade show in Japan, and FF-Reunion.net are at the event. One of their writers tweeted a short while ago that Square have announced the game will be released in March 2012.
FF-Reunion’s writer seems impressed by the video Square showed at the event and reports that Axel, Terranort and Ventus (both from Birth by Sleep) are in the game as well. Oh, and so is Shiki, who will be joining Neku, Beat and Joshua from The World Ends With You!"

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance also stages based on Pinocchio, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and The Three Musketeers."

"Kingdom Hearts 3D Set for March Release"
http://andriasang.com/comze6/kh3d_date/
"As many had been expecting, Square Enix announced a more specific release time frame for Kingdom Hearts 3D at today's Jump Festa event.
In its coverage of the event at Twitter, Square Enix fan site Final Fantasy Reunion reported that the game is now due for release in March 2012. Square Enix had previously announced a general Spring timeframe.
FF Reunion also reports that there are no plans at present for a hardware bundle. This presumably means that a bundle was not mentioned in the game's Jump Festa trailer."

The chart at top shows how you can call out your Dream Eater companions by buiding up your Link Gauge. Below that is a look at the game's Free Flow Action system, where you can press Y while in the air to perform a variety of location-based actions.
The bottom chart shows the Reality Shift system. As previously detailed, when you attack enemies, their target icon will sometimes change. Press X and A at this time, or slide down on the touch panel, and you'll trigger a Realty Shift move. The chart shows a move called Wonder Comic where random characters from the Three Musketeers appear.
At the bottom of the second chart is the game's Drop system. When your Drop Gauge, shown in the screen's lower right, reaches 0, your character will fall asleep and you'll switch your character and stage. You can also trigger the Drop manually if you want to switch.
According to FF Reunion, the Jump Festa demo included Pinocchio, Notre Dame, Three Musketeers and Tron Legacy stages. There was also a shooting mini game that had Sora glide through the stage.
Square Enix also showed a lengthy new trailer for the game. This clocked in at eight minutes and apparently showed Raimu Bito, the latest cameo from The World Ends With You."

http://www.siliconera.com/2011/12/04/jiminy-cricket-drops-his-journal-and-joins-riku-in-kingdom-hearts-3d/
"In past Kingdom Hearts game Jiminy Cricket’s job was to chronicle Sora’s adventures. He has a different role in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Riku will find Jiminy Cricket in Prankster’s Paradise, Pinocchio’s home in the Nintendo 3DS game, taking care of Pinocchio after the Blue Fairy brings him to life.
Kingdom Hearts 3D uses the deck command system introduced in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Each move has cooldown time and the game cycles through special attacks and spells after you use them. As seen in these screenshots, Sora has Ice Breaker as one of his commands. Riku has Dark Breaker and Blizzaga. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is slated for a spring release in Japan."

From SQEX☆GAL:
"KH3D News – Pinocchio and Hunchback of Notredame Details"
http://sqex.wordpress.com/
"Here’s translations of the new information revealed in Famitsu, V-Jump, and Jump Weekly about Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Thanks to the News Vault for the info. Updating as I go along, I’ll make a note when I’m finished.
World Introduction
It’s the same information revealed in Weekly Jump and V-Jump, so I’ll summarize.
The Hunchback of Notredame world: “Le Cité des Cloches”
Appearing Characters
Quasimodo – The young man confined within Notredame Cathedral. He favors Esmeralda who helped him despite his appearance.
Esmeralda – A beautiful gypsy girl who loves her freedom. She has a strong sense of justice and has caught the eye of Frollo.
Phoebus – The skilled captain of the guard who was summoned by Frollo. Frollo orders him to eradicate the gypsies from the city, but he gradually begins to disobey.
Claude Frollo – He is a judge with substantial control of the city. Because of his hatred of gypsies, his methods of removing them become violent.
There are great number of scenes including Sora telling Quasimodo to run, Riku meeting Esmeralda, and others involving Sora and Riku.
Pinocchio world: “Prankster’s Paradise”
Appearing Characters
- Blue Fairy – The fairy who breathes life into Pinocchio even though he is a doll.
- Pinocchio – Having forgotten the promise he made to Geppetto and Jiminy, he accidently becomes dazed by fun things.
- Geppetto – He is a craftsman that makes wooden toys. He creates Pinocchio and comes to love him like his own son.
- Jiminy Cricket – A cricket residing in Geppetto’s home. He was ordered by the Blue Fairy to educate Pinocchio. This Jiminy Cricket does not have the memories of the Jiminy Cricket that traveled alongside Sora and company in the previous adventures.
There are scenes around the circus entrance and within the circus tent, as well as Sora and Riku talking with the Blue Fairy, Pinocchio, and Jiminy Cricket.
System Reality Shift
In battle, attack the same enemy consecutively. When you lock on to specific objects, a special lock on marker appears. When that happens, you can use the special command “Reality Shift” by pressing the X and A buttons. During that, Sora/Riku disappear from the battle and special actions take place on the lower screen. The Reality Shift command introduced is called “Holy Rope”. Using it, you tie up targets in a line on the bottom screen, then on the top screen a chain appears to attack the enemies one after another in the way you drew it.
Dream Eaters
There are ally and enemy Dream Eaters introduced in battle. Nightmares are enemies, Spirits are allies.
Nightmares
- Zou Elephant – An elephant with jutting, purple tusks. It attacks with its large body and long nose. Its long range attacks like firing rocks are its strong points. If you meet the requirements by partnering with a large Dream Eater, you can invoke the “Blow Off” technique to combat it. After twirling your Dream Eater ally around, you can fling it at the enemy.
- Dokudoku Lizard (Poisonous Lizard) – A Dream Eater that resembles a fancy purple salamander. From above, it sprinkles poison in a wide range, and can also attack by stretching its long, poisonous tongue.
- Ice Penguin – It is dark gray, yellow, and green around its back and belly, with a purple riveted ring around its neck. Sliding across the ground, it attacks within the area it surrounds. It will also abruptly make blocks of ice surround its body.
- Dragon Horse – A nightmare resembling a seahorse. It attacks by shooting water like balls from its mouth.
- Neko Cat – The nightmare version is violet. It moves around sneakily; if you come in contact with the lightning balls it drops you receive damage.
Spirits
- Goat Horn – A dream eater’s whose horns resemble a wind instrument. It’s cooperating technique envelopes the Keyblade in flames which make it more powerful.
- Thorn Lion – A lion Dream Eater with a prickly mane and flat feet. A technique where the lion’s thorn tail can be brandished by Sora is introduced.
Techniques: By filling up the pink gauge you can execute co-op techniques with your ally Dream Eaters. For instance, Sora can ride atop a Dream Eater, and Riku can absorb the Dream Eaters to power himself up."

"Kingdom Hearts 3D: Jump Shows Pinocchio and Hunchback Stages"
http://andriasang.com/comz0h/
"The latest issues of Jump and sister publication V Jump have updates on Kingdom Hearts 3D showing two of the game's Disney worlds, Pinocchio and Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The Pinocchio world is named "Pranksters' Paradise." Set in the belly of a giant whale, this world will let Sora and friends adventure through a heart warming fairytale land consisting of circus huts and other elements in 3D. You'll encounter Pinocchio, whose nose grows when he tells a lie, just like in the original story, and Jiminy Cricket.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame world is named La Cité des Cloches. Screens show Sora in an encounter with Frollo and the city guards in the city plaza. They're apparently concerned about the appearance of demons in the city. V Jump also shows artwork for Esmeralda.
Outside of the two worlds, V Jump also shows the latest Dream Eaters, Ice Penguin, Yagiphone (Phone Goat -- it looks like a goat with giant horns) and and Hari Lion (Needle Lion -- it looks like a lion with needles on its tail and main). Ice Penguin is a foe while the latter two are allies.
All this is just a preview for what will likely be a more in-depth report in Famitsu this week, so be sure and check back around Tuesdayish for more!"

"New Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Screenshots
Famitsu.com has posted a huge media update on Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. The update is mostly the content from this week's feature in Weekly Famitsu, but there are all sorts of new details.
Here's some of what you may want to be on the lookout for as you browse the screens.
Sora and Riku
In these screens, Sora and Riku appear to be in the The Hunchback of Notre Dame world. Weekly Famitsu said that the game's Disney worlds will all be new, and the returning worlds will have new areas.
Dream Eaters
Dream Eaters play a central role in the game. They're split into "Spirit" and "Nightmare" types. The spirit types fighting alongside Sora and Riku as partner characters. The Nightmare types are powerful foes.
Regarding the Spirit types, Sora and Riku have different ways of interacting with them. You can carry two with you into battle.
The game has a collection aspect where you can attempt to get all the Dream Eaters. There are many tens of the creatures waiting to be found. (In a Famitsu interview this week, Tetsuya Nomura would not give the exact count.)
Bold Actions
Bold actions are one of the main concepts of Kingdom Hearts 3D. You'll see Sora and Riku use walls and poles as they run through the stages.
Two new systems come into play for the game's action component:
Free Flow Actions
Press Y when in the vicinity of walls and poles to perform a variety of actions. You can then press A for a Free Flow Action. Examples include "Kick Dive," where, after kicking off a wall you can target the ground with a powerful attack, and Turn Cutter where you swing around a pole, using your keyblade to deal damage to your surroundings.
Reality Shift
When you see a special marker on the enemy, press X and A to switch to reality shift mode. The action will freeze, and Sora or Riku will disappear from the top screen and reappear on the bottom screen. In this state, you can perform a variety of special moves, including Sora's sling shot, shown below.
New Areas and Neku
Traverse Town is back in Kingdom Hearts 3D, only it has two new areas. Here, you'll meet The World Ends With You main character Neku."
