I just feel weird that Lightning has to fight Noel in this game

I really respect to FF fans because i am one of them who Lived and growth with FF from FF1 - FF13 .... No onffence but thats my oponion " Final fantasy become worth and worth after "Sakaguchi" leaved team ... FF XII break FF battel rules but I am really love it BECAUSE of there was FF sprits on it . great story , gigantic map ,... in one word FREEDOM that feed advatures soul ... BUT FF XIII is absolutly DISASTER ... as a FF fan i have JUST one request to SE and FF staff "please DO NOT start new project for money sake , FF fans eyes on you" thank u

I'm just sure Collector's Edition (or another Special Edition) will be announced :)

Hopefully, the battle system turns out to be something similar to Crisis Core; here's hoping.

I think in every Final Fantasy series there are people who love and people who hate, it is just a matter of taste. I remember when FFX-2 came out, it soon became my favorite game ever, and everyone I knew who played it really hated it. It surprised me that there are so many fans eager for the HD Remastered version now. It's okay to not love FF XIII, but it does not mean that it is bad, that's just your opinion. I really like this FFXIII, it is my favorite, since FF X. Lightning Returns looks really good, in my opinion. I'm very curious about the battle system. FF XIII battle sys took me a while to get used to, but I'm fine with it now. Something like Crisis Core battle sys would be fun as well. Anyway, I really love the story. From what we have seen so far, the plot kind of reminds me of Valkyrie Profile:Lenneth, because of the time running out. Overall, it is a game that I can't wait to try, and am very much looking forward to!

Just to offer my opinion here dipiste how good the visuals were in FF XIII the battle system is too boring. I felt more empowered on the system of FF X down to 7. A battle system like Lost Odyssey should be implemented with the graphic enhancements.

( sorry about my english, if i have a mistake ) If you don't like final fantasy xiii series... just do not comment like " final fantasy xiii is suck" or " It's the worst final fantasy I have ever played"...there are people who really like this game...and like i said, don't comment if you don't liike this game, cause it stupid

About LR: (sorry for my bad English) To be honest, it's very tough to wait release date cuz the longer you wait, the less you want. I strongly DO NOT recommend to you guys frequently follow the news every day/every week, just wait the moment and have a patience due to it'll be something handsome ;) Yes BTW, remember the days when you learned about the game just bought it... Instead of facebook, twitter, official sites and other resourses. Now you know that you're interested in this game six months before its occurrence, so just wait due to if you really want it you never die in waiting!

Why do they keep doing these horrible final fantasy games. 12 was the last one worth a damn. I want a HD version of vii also not x-2

People either hating or praising the FF 13 series.. The positive things about this series are: graphics, good characters. But the negative things are: Empty battlesystem (all you needed to do was press X with a shift every now and then), linear storyline (where as 2 was just a bad story), Almost zero in hidden content (no hidden eidolons or characters) or unlockable treasure ( no real ultimate weapons where you need to gather things, get perfect scores on minigames etc), no mini games (granted ff XIII-2 had some but didnt amount to much). The things that made Final Fantasy great in the past is the deep experiance and all the little details. Graphics have always been good for the time they were made in. So yea...add optional stuff, mini games, hidden characters, aeons/eidolens, ultimate weapons and events/quests to get needed materials, add a certain freedom in travel to towns and such, something i also missed in FF 13 series was something like sphere break/blitzball/the card triad game! Yes its all optional stuff but it is what makes the final fantasy so much more enjoyable. Something you might want to keep in mind.

What I am really hoping for is some Final Fantasy versus 13!!! Stop milking the cash cow the udder is now dry. Get some other games in the development cycle

The FFXIII series is my favourite FF; I adore and am inspired by the characters and story. It has earned its place in my heart forever. It is the FF I can relate to most and I cannot wait for Lightning Returns.

Hmm how about instead of releasing yet another game set in this drab, stale and uninspiring world with paper thin characters, a script that was confused lacked any focus and a story that even M Night Shymalan would have cringed. Give us the FF7 HD Update note i said update not remake, just pretty up the graphics and we are good. oh and you know the slight monetary concerns your having will be fixed by doing the above. oh and Versus would be good too.

I love FFXIII - I even have 2 copies of it xD - I just love the story. The only thing I didn't like about XIII-2 was Lightning's absence ... ( and I'm still waiting to see an english release of FFXIII Type-0 ) So expect Lightning Returns to be the best of the series - lots and lots of Lightning :D

Too be honest FFXIII wasnt great but descent and FFXIII-2 was alot better and its good that they continued with this new one and FFXIII still has their credit for having great graphics, good songs, and excellent characters... can't wait for LIGHTNING RETURNS!

Hmm... Maybe I should try this game, go into it with no expectations, like I had for the 2 previous. Maybe I should see if Square can reunite me with my favourite franchise. Maybe... I can see the glorious days again, as I saw in the Super Nintendo era. We can all, but hope.

@Benjamin-B If you say so lol. What I'm saying is that because FFXIII-2 ended on a TBC, it would be an gigantic kick in the butt to the fans of FFXIII to not release a 3rd game which ends the story. And I agree FFXIII-2 shouldn't have been made, but get over it. I loved it and so did many others, and and as long as the fans of FFXIII love it that's all that matters.

I for one Enjoy FF13 and i actualy love the world and characters in it, exspecially Lightning. Haters can hate all day, but I'm happy that this is comming

Final fantacy 13 and 2 are good so fur like the story and everything I just hope they don't end the game a mystery like ff13-2

@LightningXIII-2 Well really there really shouldn't have been an XIII-2 ( even though it was a big improvement) or a X-2 as the stories (if you'd call it that) were already practically finnished in the previous (X and XIII) those 2 games had uninteresting stories anyway but with the release of XIII-2 it made the need for an extended story when it should have been finished in XIII when they became crystaline structures

@Benjamin-B they're spending their time making this because there was no closure to the FFXIII story, and FFXs story is already finished. It's a bit obvious, and they say it in almost every interview.

@ShadowGirlXIII i know they did get some things right music wasn't really to my liking (the promise was ok) but thats my opinion but my point in my last comment was; why are they still trying to develop an average game with an average protaganist. When they could of used the time that they did making this game in producing the FFX remaster or FFversusXIII (now FFXV apparently). But hey if this game is any good, all is forgiven for all the other bad FFXIII's.

As far as FF games go, the XIII series wasn't the best. The characters, music, and locations were fantastic and the graphics were great, but the story line could've been tweaked a little more and the fighting style was a little too easy to do. All you need to do is press 'x' on PS3 and sometimes directional buttons. I agree that the fighting style needs to be a little more like KH or XII. Other than that, the game's awesome! Can't wait for this one to come out, but it's taking sooooo long!

Whaa. Weren't FFXIII and FFXIII-2 bad enough, well XIII-2 wasn't that bad but we don't need another final fantasy XIII square enix, apart from versus XIII, why don't you work on that. And her armour *shivers* isn't that great either. I still don't know why you still persue FFXIII when on most accounts it was a failiure and i bought it at full price (meaning $100 in australia) thinking it would be a good game.It was dissapointing I also bought XIII-2 at a price that its not really worth it ($60) but at least it was kind of a better game. They aren't even worthy of the Final fantasy name as it doesn't even feel like final fantasy anymore just a fast paced 2 buttons to win game; L1 (Paradigm shift) and X (Auto batte, which i avoid) The default setting should be set on abilities like i set it for some strategy not auto battle. you're going way off track with the final fantasy series square enix except for the remake of FFX , the first right move in a long time. But i hope it improves and i know it will, eventually if you don't just rely on the loyalty of the fans to buy these games but the voices of them the company will definately improve. Like remaking FFVII, FFVIII or FFIX for example. Its what everyone wants why don't you just do it. Well i hope this post wasn't too offensive as many people feel exactly the same way they just don't say it well thnakyou for being a great company anyway and continuing the final fantasy series and i hope you get more satisfied customers in the future.

I'll never understand what people gain from hating on this game. Do you really think that will change anything? Do you think you have accomplished anything by simply throwing insults at Square's games and staff. Bottom line, LR will still get released. It will still sell millions of copies and millions of gamers worldwide are going to be happy beyond belief about it.

Why keep turning FF into a platform event based game? I dont have anything against this kind of games, but it seems wrong to me to keep using FF franchise in making games that have lost completly their original spirit. Just stop making FF till you want to do it right... This is gonna be the first FF that im not purchasing, I didnt like FFXII but I respect it as a FF with iits original combat system and all that.. FXIII was even worse than FFX-2, no story, no freedom, I even gave it a chance to FFXIII-2, the best i can say is that it was "entertaining" at most... to think how much fun did i have playing from 6 to 10...
