Web Developer - Drupal
Purpose
To develop the central Square Enix website for Europe.
Duties
Technical implementation, maintenance and upgrade of the central Square Enix website for Europe.
Ongoing technical management, in conjunction with other internal stakeholders, of web development projects.
Implementation and maintenance of integration between the central site and other areas of the Square Enix web platform.
Stakeholders
Online Publishing team: Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Software Solutions Manager, Web Operations Manager, Web Designers
IT team: Web Infrastructure Manager.
Mobile, Digital Sales and Communications teams.
Publishing business: Territory marketing teams, territory sales teams.
Development studios: Brand marketing teams, including PR staff and community managers.
IT team: Web Infrastructure Manager.

Experience & Qualifications
• Professional web development experience
• Development experience in an online commercial environment
• Web development experience in a creative industry
• Web development experience in some segment of the videogames industry
• Web development experience in a creative industry

Technical Skills
• In-depth knowledge of Drupal 6 and 7
• Experience with creating custom modules for Drupal.
• Experience working on high traffic Drupal installations
• Experience using Git
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, mostly PHP 5.
• Good SQL skills, mostly MySQL.
• Good knowledge of various CSS frameworks (e.g. SASS/SCSS, compass) and grid systems (e.g. 960grid, bootstrap, zen-grid).
• Comfortable using Linux workstations
• Experience with creating custom modules for Drupal.
• Experience working on high traffic Drupal installations
• Experience using Git
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, mostly PHP 5.
• Good SQL skills, mostly MySQL.
