Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence.   2. Territories:  This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

  3. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 13 years of age or older at the date and time of entry.
  4. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between January 12, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) and January 21, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) (the “Entry Period”). 
  5. Entry Procedure and Limitations:  In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:
    • Capture one (1) screenshot (the “Screenshot”) of Final Fantasy XV on the Sony PlayStation 4 or the Microsoft Xbox One using the game’s in-game photo function (either selfies taken by the player or those taken by Prompto).
      • The Screenshot must feature Ignis Scientia, or something related to Ignis Scientia, in some form.
      • You must capture the Screenshot using the screenshot functionality built into the Sony PlayStation 4 or the Microsoft Xbox One.
    • Post the Screenshot on Twitter using the following hashtags and @replies: #FFXVSnapshotContest4 and @FFXVEN. 
      • If you are not a member of Twitter, you must register for a Twitter account (registration is free) prior to posting the Screenshot.
      • If you do not already follow @FFXVEN on Twitter, you must follow it prior to posting the Screenshot on Twitter.
      • The tweet must contain the name you wish to call the Screenshot and the name/alias that you wish to be credited as.
      • Do not use image editing software to alter, enhance, or add more features to a Screenshot.
    • You may also post the Screenshot on Facebook using the following hashtags and @replies: #FFXVSnapshotContest4 and @FFXVEN. Such Facebook posts do not constitute an entry and will not affect your odds of winning.

    6. Square Enix shall not accept entries that: (a) deviate from the established theme; (b) violate or infringe any laws, regulations, or rights, including any intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights; (c) are missing required information; (d) are obscene, vulgar, discriminate, or contain any other offensive subject matter; (e) are counter to public order and/or morals; (f) Square Enix judges, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate for any reason; (g) contain false or misleading information; (h) make unauthorized or fraudulent use of a third party’s name, email address, character name, or likeness; (i) are potentially defamatory; (j) are of low resolution or otherwise difficult to evaluate; (k) violate any other rule or condition in these terms or on this webpage; and (l) are otherwise damaging or detrimental to Square Enix or any third party.

  6. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select five (5) winners from among all entries using the following methodology:
    • Community Choice Winners – Sponsor Community Managers shall select two (2) “Community Choice Winners” based on the overall aesthetic quality of the entries.
    • Facebook User Choice Winner – Sponsor shall select images that comply with the submission guidelines and post those images on the Final Fantasy XV Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ffxv/ on or around January 22, 2018. (Note: If the number of entries that Sponsor receives is so great that it is difficult or impractical to upload all qualified entries onto the Final Fantasy XV Facebook page, then Sponsor will in its sole discretion select a smaller number of entries to post on the Final Fantasy XV Facebook page.) Sponsor shall invite Facebook account holders to vote on the Screenshots by “liking” Screenshots at the above-described location before January 26, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. The two (2) Screenshots that receive the most “likes” shall be “User Choice Winners.”
    • Director’s Choice Winners – Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata-san shall select one (1) “Director’s Choice Winner” based on the overall aesthetic quality of the entries.
  7. Prize(s): Each winner shall receive each of the following prize(s): 
    • The winner’s Screenshot shall appear in future downloadable content for Final Fantasy XV (the approximate retail value of this prize is $0.00).
  8. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or about February 26, 2018 via Twitter direct message. 
  9. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE LEGALLY ACQUIRED ACCESS TO FINAL FANTASY XV PRIOR TO THE LAUNCH OF THE PROMOTION.
